    pulsar sr20 into s14?

    hi all

a friend of mine has a pulsar forged engine and he said i can have it cheap if it will work in my jdm 14.

so will a pulsar sr20det work in a s14? i know the inlets are different but what else? will the 14 loom work/plug in?

    many thanks

    leo

It would be easier to swap all the internals into your engine - seriously.

    Yeah...

You can't bolt a RWD gearbox to the Pulsar engine, the distributor will foul the firewall, the inlet is the wrong way round, etc, etc...

somple word no not a chance..

the only bits that are of intrest are the pistons and rods.. every thing else wont work.. so your best bet is to just buy a new set of forged bits..

inlet bolt patern is different so wont fit, pulsars are distributer not coil on plug, the block wont polt to the gearbox.. and the block wont have the bolt holes tapped for the RWD engine mounts..

If it's cheap enough buy it to sell on to fund a re-build of yours?
