Not only is it on other side of the dashboard but its near flat and that lump with the buttons on it will block the view even further,The other gauges are so small no way you could just glance at them as you should be able to,Then there's the off set or should that be lack of off-set
It's surely so the passenger can call out 'V-Tec Yo!' with correct timing?
