had a heads up from another rust fanatic buddy, yea its monday but this is gold,,,in the sense of how rusty it is,,waaaaay to gone to save imo
the clocks plastic front is cracked, but when the clock face is proper rusty that is not a good sign, this is only worth the log book/reg number
no droop snoot front,no axle/rear wheels, seized solid engine,no glass or sunroof left outside since 1991, 7.5k on bids atm,

You know what that's selling for

The Vin plates and the V5, very clever way to sell them too

That reg and vin will soon end up on a stolen car.
I wonder if people are bidding it up to prevent the sale??

At £7.5K the only way someone could make money is with a ringer.

Thing is, you could buy a new chassis and build up an all new car as long as you have the vin plate and the v5. It's not illegal not stolen.

Agree with all,I think the money a clean one goes for it's deffo for ID swaps, and started a Mr ringer dinger cut & shut bidding war?
,could well trace all the bidders and find a horde of hidden 'hot' cars waiting for that ID

A heritage shell is upwards of 10 grand unpainted.
Then you need engine, drivetrain, interior, exterior, wheels, tyres etc etc

Plus you're £7500 into this shitheap just for the VIN and V5.

The maths don't add up, you'll be £40k into the car thats worth £25k +

Few here, but nothing particularly revealing.

There was a vid in your first link that showed a lot of exhurst coming from around the downpipe then being pumped into the cabin via the ac vents.
    Pretty sad to be honest.

Couldn't see a vid. Must have been blocked on work server.

Yeah pretty tragic. I wanted to see the mods to see whether it was well out there or the kind of thing a lot of kids do, so to speak.

This still is from the video, although you can't really see the smoke.

From the looks of it there was a massive leak from the elbow/downpipe area, all those fumes going straight into the cabin.
Not sure if the EGR system is connected there, or he'd simply taken the lot off and put it back on without gaskets or even tightening the bolts properly.

No idea why he drove it in that state, it's not like you can miss something like that.
It'll ****ing reek of fumes and sound like a tractor.

I saw a report that said engine bay fumes passing out of the bonnet vents he's cut then in through air vents at front of windscreen.
Must have been a pretty massive leak into the engine bay from exhaust.

This happened at the end of my mums road, those fiesta STs have a vent from the engine bay to the cabin so the driver can hear more engine noise for a "sportier" feel, our apprentice has one that he's wrapped here

for restoration project, front end is rotten as a pear,no keys no ID and they can't find it on database thingy, so good luck putting it back on the road
the little 'hedge' of moss growing on the drivers seat tells me its got a slight water ingress problem (window left open 25 years maybe?)
rear light lense's and glass could be saved? the remains need pushing into the scrap yard behind it in the pics
from the ad, Owner said it was running 25yr ago when it was parked up,,as meaningless as it had a years MOT as well 25 years ago imo

That looks like you could tap it with a feather to turn it to dust
