There's one of those round corner from me
Yeah but this one hasn't got all that shit all over it and is actually quite sweet
If the front overhang was a foot shorter that'd look alright.
I have to put this up now! Wolfrace Sonic

That's not really a shed though,it's a quirky odd looking thing agreed
back in it's day that was an engineering marvel as it all worked, and remember it was 1981!!!
I can remember the issue of street machine with that on the front cover
amongst the previous sea of cortina's with jack up kits, side pipes and slot mags (by wolfrace or cobra)
that thing was pretty unique
The Nova just reminded me. Hopefully it'll be restored
I had a Hotwheels one as a kid
the shape I can sort of let go,but and it is a massive but (rump shaker )
the beetle based nova kit car and the sonic are so far apart at ends of the performance spectrum
(nearly,I don't think the sonic was great to drive tbh)
but the two 3.5 litre Buick/rover V8's gave it possibly 300 rampant stallions
where as the up turned baby's bath tub has 40? 50 if its a 1600gt,60 if its been tweaked a bit
the starship enterprise it will certainly be not
I do hope the sonic gets restored, Nick butler turned out some cool stuff back in the day

I saw a very nicely finished Nova at Kent Showground a couple of years back and that had an Subaru EJ25 in it.
I was VERY taken with it.
That could almost be the one. I've always wanted to stop and get more details on it but I'm always walking to the station and he's always driving off to work
Whatever his one is - I don't think it's got a beetle engine in it. Doesn't sound at all air cooled or clattery. Sounds more rumbly and, actually, quite nice.
That reads as more interesting,if it had decent running gear to go with the hefty power hike from the bug motor
that could be quite lively (still very quirky) and I couldn't live with that sliding conopy cockpit door thingy
If it slowly rose on electric motors undriver aided it would be more nicer better
but iirc you had to push it open like 2 handed ,to onlookers possibly seeming trapped inside and your forcing your way out
nah not for me, there's about 3 of them nearish to me,all have the nasty swing axle set up, so silly rear cambers
I think a certain type of car loon had the horn for them, like one near me lives with 2 really rusty fiat x19's
another was 'the garden' pretty much with a filthy G wiz (spelling?) sat next to it
and we all know only mental patients bought a G wiz
There is an add-on that gives the canopy power and it even auto-shuts when you go above 10 mph. Takes about 3 seconds to close and about 10 seconds to open though
Canopy is very, very cool IMO but getting in/out is even harder than an Elise....and that's saying something.
This almost deserves a thread of its own, but I'll just leave it here:

Jesus, that interior...
Not so much a shed just more money than style and sense.
