Depends what sort of nick its in. Condition is all, not just mileage.

If its very clean and has some history, then upwards of £4K, I'd say.

Is the 1400, including the vehicle back as a cat D ?

thanks for advice they offered me £1400 and they keep the car or £750 and i keep the car its in goood condition .full service history v reg manual car is stage 2 .and im the second owner. told them to stick it

If they valued it at 1400 quid its not surprising they wrote it off really is it ?

If it was as nice as you say, it should have made £4K I'd have thought. Do you have recent pics to prove the condition ?

mine cost me £1400 and it had almost 200,000 miles on it! tell them to F off bunch of swindlers, when I had an accident on my bike, they valued it at 1400 (worth easily 3k) and when I argued they got an independent assesor out to look at the bike, he said it was in "average" condition, depsite having only 2 owners, 7,000 miles and being pretty much pristine before the accident!
