Power steering leak?

My car is loosing steering fluid. Any obvious culprits around the pump or the resovoir. Do the gaskets ever blow?

What fluid are you putting in the pas system?

mine went about 4 years ago and it was a crack in the pipes where they are clipped to the subframe under the engine.

have you noticed any fluid under the car? Mine wasn't in the place it was leaking cos of the undertray.

you should be using ATF fluid by the way.

Usually the low pressure return system weirdly for me..

seals inside of the steering rack could have gone causing it to leak internally, worth checking
