I think if they'd ended it on the Red Wedding and then made people wait a year for the next episode they'd have had more than a few suicides on their hands

OIC. So much happens in book 3 and that wedding is about halfway through thought it would be a passable place to stop it.

Don't click if you've not seen last weeks Red Wedding episode..

Some of the threats against George R R Martin and the production team are a little OTT!

lol some of those are hilarious though. It's true though, you're wasting your time if you invest in any of the characters

I have to admit, I was ROYALLY pissed off when I read the red wedding in the books.

Honestly, I think the series should've have ended an episode earlier. That's not to say tonight's episode was poor, just that last week's was spectacular.

That's how GoT is though, penultimate episode is amazing, last ties up a few loose ends and asks some more questions to keep you hanging for the next series.

Like you say, it was a good episode, just not spectacular.

Probably a good thing ending it half way through the 3rd book though. Plenty of material for another series between the second half of book 3 and 4.

Is the next series already made or do we have to wait a other two years for it?

Seemed like bloody ages. From what I read it will be this time next year.

I was a bit disappointed with this series a couple of highs but it felt like a bit of a plodding slog. Tried reading the books and found the same and I very rarely give up on books. Still, it is better than pretty much everything else on TV.
