Morosso make one too. Some of the cheaper cast ones have been known to be porous
i got mine from apex, all seems ok but haven't been about to take the car out since fitting it
I've got a tomei one and to be fair it's a work of art.
i got a custom made on on my ca it works a charm
Any places to get them?
Personally, I'd go for a branded one.
After hearing the stories of poor castings in the cheaper copies, why bother? A Greddy one isn't that much IMO, £230 or so, and you know it's going to be spot on.
Check my parts for sale, I have a apex one. 110posted brand new in box
I went for a Greddy sump because i could afford it at the time and the odd porous casting story swayed me to spend more, glad i did now its well designed and good quality, adds about 0'75 of a litre extra capacity
Mine came on the car, but i can add a vote for Greddy too
sorry to jump on a thread, but I lost my last engine to (Im assuming) oil surge and a tired bottom end.
Putting a new one back together and between accusumps, baffled sumps, oil coolers and dry sump kits Im very confused!!
Stage 2a with a little track, bit more drag, no drifting (yet!) if this makes a difference!
I got a cheap Ebay one and had no Problems for years.
I`ve had a rubbish leaking one. Got a Greddy now. I would still test it prior to fitting, you can use some spent oil or rubbish halffrauds. I ilke the sensor hole and that you get all the oil out.
I have cheap greddy copy sump and wouldn't buy one again given the choise. I had to do a lot of work to get it to fit.
ive been told by a couple of people there a waste of time and oil
