    Great Track Build - Golf

    http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...-build/page80&

Just had this sent to me, it looks mental. Only read the last page so far, going to go back through it now. Posted here because it'll interest many people and not just German car fans.

    Why has this been moved?

I deliberately don't post in here because people don't always look through every room. Sigh. There are too many rooms on this forum.

What section did you put it in before?

I always use the 'new post' button so makes no odds to me. I thought it was in this section anyway.

Shit man this guy has some skills, wait until page 13 where he cuts the shell up to replace it with fg panels, and yes he made the moulds off the car.

I like the bit where someone said they are surprised he doesn't make his own axel stands. Then he replied with a photo of his homemade axel stand lol.

was a nice stand though and looked like it was screw adjustment. The only thing I don't like about it is the spoiler. The rear hatch is FG and there are no internal supports for it where it is bolted to the hatch, any force on that and its going to tear the FG.

Tis a nice axel stand .

I hadn't actually noticed that about the spoiler. Good spot.

But it doesn't matter dude, it's a track build. VW's don't normally interest me, so I wouldn't check the German section. Ahhh man, too many rooms I maintain. Bring back the old "Non 200 Motoring" for sure.
