Autoglass replaced my rear quarter near side last year, perhaps worth a call?

Just cut them out from the inside, nothing too difficult. The only risk is damaging the outer seal, its a genuine Nissan part (if its still available) and comes attached to a new glass at around £350.

GDUK JAP PARTS
We cut them out but you won't do easily unless you have the correct knives for the job, if they have never been changed and are still factory fitted there not to bad to remove but if they have ever been replaced they can be a git to remove, but we have them in stock if you break them

You've still got the same problem if you smash them through, you need to get it off in one piece really to make it easy. Just have patience

There are 2 or 3 clips as well, iirc, that might block the knife or wire at some point.
I shattered one trying to remove it from a s14a I broke, for the other side I cut the metal surrounding, so I can't really help you
But I'll need to remove mine some day, they started to leak as the bond seems to have wear off ...

You clearly want to just smash them out, so just do it.
Christ, have a bit of patience and run a knife round them. If you can't do that, then call a friggin' fitter.

the 'friggin ' fitter didnt wanna know

I found that.
It shows where 2 clips and the bond are, might be helpful, instead of blindly cutting it ?
I think there's a third clip, or a screw, on the rear of the quarter window though but I'm not sure.
