    The Solo 180sx Sr20vet build

I just said i would throw up a quick thread of my 180sx build.I started this in 2009 when i blew the headgasket in my 180sx driftcar and i started off with the plan of just doing the headgasket and it just got out of hand from there and i ended up buying a new shell and decided to go the vet route. The car is no your usual show and shine type car and i went with the format of function over form so the car has good ground clearance, full interior and a full windscreen (tax, nct, insurance) and i think it is the first road legal SR20vet in Europe and the first Sr20vet in Ireland.

Here's a pic of the two cars recently getting the alignment done.

And the road trip to awesomefest

This was with the old rocker cover

CH automotive does some great stuff Don't forget you've got r33 rear brake setup also

This is some machine to move, great powerband and driveability makes this a very capable car

Cheers lads for the kind comments it been along hard slog with getting this car to where it is now and alot more left to do and a good few bits and pieces that i am not entirely with it but that is mainly down to me wanting to meet deadlines i had set for myself and i hate not being able to meet a deadlin but it will do for now cause it works and goes like a raped ape.I have plans to build a new one in the new year that will be capable of more power but that is a long way off yet.

Here is what makes the conversion worth it

new housing compared to the old one

    Pics from japfest tracktime

One of my favourite bits of the car has to be this little wideband guage

Hence why I said think lol now don't be holding out on me drop me a pm with a link or specs on the others.
Hopefully we will be over to a few events next year in the Uk and participating in a few trackdays all funds depending.

On another note I picked up a kakimoto cat back exhaust should hopefully be fitting it during the weekend all going well looks like a good bit of kit pics after the weekend hopefully it will be good at reducing the noise levels so I don't have hassle at trackdays
