    Halfords tool sale

Just thought I'd let ye know, Halfords are doing a lot of their tool kits for half price the moment.

Just reserved one of these, gonna collect it today. Look like pretty good value to me!

I just bought the 120 piece kit on the weekend.

£199.99 with 50% discount and a further 20% as a web price so I reserved online & paid in store.

    http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...5572&langId=-1

Lifetime guarantee, couldn't go wrong £80 for life as long as I don't loose any of it lol

the lifetime guarantee is only on the sockets not the ratchets

no idea mate, i would suspect the spanners are covered, all i know one a few occasions i have tried (despite knowing) to get a replacement free of charge for a broken ratchet and they will not do anything about it

    yeah spanners are covered

sometimes they will replace the ratchets, depends who you talk to really, seems the best way to get them to give up and replace it is to ask them to fit the little repair kits they do for the ratchets
    bovvered?

Picked up the above box yesterday. Seems fine for the price. Ratchets are a little flimsy, and the drawers feel like they'll last about a week, but other than that all the kit seems pretty decent.

It's not like I'll be using them every day so I'm sure they'll be grand for a while anyway.
