Net/Note book !!!

Looking at getting a Net/Note book for the wife i have about £250 to spend can anyone suggest a good one for that price as i know nothing about them

I am replying to this on my Samsung NC10, which is a superb notebook, but no longer a current model

go for one of the newer Samsungs would be my recommendation

Yep, i have been looking for a while and all i saw were ones running windows 7 starter, 1GB RAM and not really very good graphics.

I saw this one in a shop in London and then trawled the net for it, got it at amazon and i am really really happy with it. Does everything I want and more, OK the battery life isn't as good as some but with tweaking of the settings i can get around 6 hours + on one charge.

Lenovo S205 with 2GB RAM,If you handy with a screwdriver i upgraded to 8GB for 39 pounds, although it really isn't needed.

It feels a really solid piece of kit compared to some these ASUS and alike.

All intel ATOM netbooks are basically exactly the same spec, just look different.. Tho some might have a slightly faster processor and maybe 2gb of ram..

The one linked on amazon is a lot better as its more like a full blown laptop..

yep and it's only and inch bigger that sold it to my mrs!!!!!
