you need to be a paid member to do a build thread dude
would love to see it though
Welcome to the club.
I think you can do a build thread, just not in the build thread section.
would i not get banned for that though lol
shure i can post a pic of the car
oh forgot to say i learned my self to paint after a bad time with a painter also the car is a 1992 civic ,im using every thing from a s13
every thing is jiged up and ready to make the mounts.
Interesting to see more pics of this. Im doing the same but with an s14a & a nova saloon.
oh love nova's i had gte's gsi's sr's some valver conv along the way back when i was a kid
do you have a build up , id like to keep track of it ?
Ooh im very interested in this, can't wait to see some detail
that's gonna be crazy
Awesome colour choice too!
madness, love it!
Mental, using a ca engine?
Awesome stuff, watching this
If you have a build thread on another forum do you have a link? Looks like a cool build
1998 Nissan 200sx s14a , 2000 std 5 speed with nismo supercoppermix clutch bn6 Sapphire Blue
This is where my nova currently sits.... (in no particular order)
Was originally going to be a vauxhall 2ltr lump mated to a porsche 924 transaxle and tube but decided I wanted more power...
In its previous disguise. It was all ready to run. Just needed fuel cell mounting in the whole and driveshafts. But I got bored! Ha ha....

2 awesome builds in 1 thread that nova looks like its going to be a cool sleeper weapon and that running gear set up looks trick that civic is totally worthy of a build thread on here
in 'banzai' magazine jan '11 rising sun alexi smith featured a eg civic with a f20c engine from a s2k using silvia front and rear subframes to make a cool drift car in japan! did that give you the idea for yours?? i personally prefer the CA18 route your taking tho tbh good choice
to a pair of right nice cars
me and my son are sort of planning a rwd CA18 powered mk5 4 door fiesta so keen to read up hows the civic goes especially
that looked realy clean, shit you have your work cut out ,you have to do a build thread some were .
have you seen the rwd astra gsi on mig web ?
my last nova
well the plan 2 years ago was a awd evo conv but i dont think i could have spent 5k on a car to cut up ,so i looked at the rwd rout.
then i thought about a pic id seen of a black civic with a s2k swap.
started to do some searching and found the full build up. and tbh its alot lees work than i thought.
they built it to go drifting so there work is rough as hell but you can see how they have done it.

Your nova looked really well! If you're talking about Ron's red astra then yeah, know it well. I think we started around the same time. I starting chopping mine up around 2 years ago but progress has been slow due to work commitments. I did have a build thread on MIG & PNG from when I first got the car and the stages it went through (PNG Thread) if you wanted to have a look but I warn you its long! lol
The rear chassis design was done by some motorsport engineering degree students at oxford for me as part of their project module. It was gonna get built but the more I thought about it I didnt want to spend £4k alone on that back end. So one day, with a spare s14 subframe to hand, I slid it under the back end and it fitted in-between the chassis rails. I'd found my answer. Just sourcing the donor car now and the work will start. Will be SR20DET.
shit you did alot of work to the car befor you cut it all out lol
