Seems a bit odd, police shoot someone dead; they claim one of the police was shot at first; but not a lot being said to corroborate that actually happened.
I don't see it as odd, whenever a shooting occurs nothing should be said till IPCC has investigated.
The fact one of the police officers had a none police issue bullet lodged in his radio tends to suggest someone did shoot him.

The other half and I drove through North London lat night, probably just before all that nonsence kicked off. We were probably lucky to have missed all the mayhem. Seriously though, it's such a shit hole around there, you'd pretty much expect mindless dick heads to run riot if a train was late.
This is all happening waaaaaay too close to home for my liking - I can hear the sirens right nowmy gf is meant to be working in Enfield tomorrow too....
