Dug out a little project. I've had this over 20 years.

It's a 7T32 which is one of the best quartz movements with alarm function they ever did. It's a very rare colour, too.

It's worth naff all but it's got a lot of sentimental value to me. Unfortunately it needed a repair about 5-6 years back and I took it into a clock and watch repairer. It didn't go back together quite right and then when kayaking somewhere one day, it took a bit of a dunking. Filled with water. Dried it out and it still worked for a year or so, but eventually gave out.

Going to look for a spares or repairs movement on eBay and hope I can get it apart and back together working again

Saw these the other day... seriously tempted! But then I never really grew up. By a relative newcomer the watch world called "the Electricianz" https://www.the-electricianz.com/

My Toro Rosso is back in its box and I'm sticking with the now repaired G-Shock for now. It comes out if we go out for dinner or something. So it's probably staying in the box for the foreseeable future...

I bet that will glow insane under what I bought for my house. UV cannons, figured if UV is used in bio containment labs can’t hurt above every outside door.

And done a bit of gardening

    Now getting prepared
For the winter. Built a logging horse

With my accident proneness and a chainsaw, what could go wrong? At least I have an A&E nurse on speed dial

That's a brand I've never heard of - a watch that needs gardening?

Friend asked for some pics of the Portofino so I just had to take some. Can't believe I don't get this thing out of the box more often

That’s nice. Reminds me when this lockdown is over, I need to get a new strap for my vintage Omega. (seamaster - not a planet ocean...) needs a good service - apparently if you get a proper Omega service done, they replace the glass like Rolex do

I still love my Planet Ocean though
