I don't know if it would be a worthwhile investment, but if I'd have known it was coming I'd probably have waited before getting mine....

Quite like the bezel, very different - but unsure how well it would age and if I'd still like it in a few months/years.

Also my hydroconquest is still spotless after 4 months and I have only taken it off when welding, very impressed with the materials/finish, so it's now the longest I've ever had a watch undamaged

That's pretty cool actually - but I think if I were going that way I'd go Ball Disco and rainbow it up proper

I've been busy again (yes, again ) and bought the most illegible watch I've ever seen in low light conditions

Was on sale and too cheap to resist. Really decent specs, built so well, and I think a really good looking piece that's a bit different / interesting.

It is an absolute bugger to read I have to be honest. I was toying with the idea of sending it back under the 60/60 guarantee but couldn't bring myself to, because it's just a really nice thing for not a lot of money.

It has got lume...... for all the good it does. Lasts about 30 seconds rather than 30 mins

Anyone had any experience with polishing off the AR coating?

Noticed I've managed to get a mark on my crystal, to be fair this is the longest I haveever managed without sever watch damage.... I have remembered to take this one off for welding and building work, so I don't know where I've dinged it.

I'm pretty sure it's just in the coating, it's very hard to photograph, and to be honest only when you know its there you see it..... but now I have noticed it, I can't unsee it.

It can't be felt with a nail or at all, and doesn't look like a scratch, more a smudge that won't wipe off.

Always wanted a Speedie but never felt like laying out a few grand for one?

Well now you can rest easy by buying a Moonswatch

Shame they're only in London... would make a fantastic present for my dad.

He loves watches but won't spend the cash on a posh one incase he breaks it....

Looks like a perfect mix of style and price.

Hopefully they will make the moon version available on a website or at least the trafford centre soon

Don't stress, they're going to be doing them online in the future and they're not a limited production run. That is to say, you needn't FOMO it.

That said, I'm in London on Saturday and am looking to buy the max two allowed - one for me, one for a mate

Haha, let me know how you get on. I'm heading there just after lunchtime but I'll go Covent Garden.

Ah well, it was a lovely day to be in London anyway

I can't quite believe how much want there's been for these - I mean they're quite cool and all that, but £200 for a quartz plastic cased watch with a velcro strap is still punchy.

To be fair, there's usually a lot of Bot activity that takes out the scalpers and what things sell for, don't actually get sold. hence the stupid bids on that one Damo.
