Every day I think about how much I desperately want this film to come out. Alien and Aliens are two of the best films ever made.
I wished i hadn't watched that, but i just couldn't help myself.
Saw the trailer for this when I went to see Safe House (which is awesome).
I was blown away by it and and at that point I had no idea it was tied in with the Alien universe, I can't wait to see it now

Been awaiting this for ages, played every game and love all the films, I heard a rumour we get an insight into the pilot race at last. Might finally know if they created the xenomorphs or they merely used them as a bio weapon, plus I wanna know how they died off.

I just love big budget epic sci fi's like this. Last of this quality was probably star trek and that was a long time ago now.

I understand that the pilot was killed by a facehugger, but prometheus is supposed to highlight on the aliens injector as such.. My question is were the eggs aboard the pilots ship for research? Or a kind of attack ship using the alien race to conquer planets
In avp games it went into more history on another planet with a similar vessel based around an ancient device that controlled the queen, and the hive mind. Suggesting they are a bio weapon. Again they require no air, water or food and have no apparent life span, questioning what happened to the alien that would have spawned from the pilot in alien. Also since the xenomorphs change depending on their host, what would one spawning from the huge pilot have been like? Finally I have noticed and it has been mentioned that the half breed produced in ressurection looks alot like the pilot race, sharing some features like bone structure etc, could this be another twist?
