bosal exhaust paste - how long time...???!

    hi

does anybody know, how long time shuld I leave the bosal exhaust paste to dry before I start the engine?? I just did change of a decat today, and left it for 1hour to dry up - then started the engine (nothin was leakin ) and after 2 minutes I hear shitloads of whistles from the connection...

An hour should be fine but when you started it did you rev the engine? You should start and let it idle only to heat the exhause and dry the paste

No idea, but I always use ones that dry with the heat. TBH there shouldn't be enough of a gap there to be able to be blown out the the exhaust pressure.
