Got me some new brakes BUT.

    I'll need disks

I've got a hold of some R33 GTR brembos and I'll be needing some new discs to go with

Ive seen these on eBay(probly says it all) but they look flashy but are they any good? Im not skimping on my brakes

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-SKYLINE...item2a0e682c38

they look cheap and nasty and they say there 322m when its a 324mm disc needed? wierd so I'll probly avoid it unless you guys have any other suggestions?

I can also get a hold of some EBC discs drilled and grooved and all that for a good price but not sure on these either?

Shall I just buy the brembos it originally had? I also saw a site up here recently someone mentioning where they can get cheap brembo discs from but cant find it now?

Im open to suggestions and whats best THANKS!

Do you think these D2 brake discs will fit with the standard brembo calipers there a little larger at 330mm but any ideas?

I actually bought a set of those discs in the ebay link, didn't read the advert properly and assumed the price quoted must of been for one disc since thy're two piece discs. To my surprise 4 discs turned up at the door and I figured they must be cheap crap at that price for two. However, I had a track evening the following day so had no choice but to fit them and take it easy to build some confidence. 6 track days on and an absolute thrashing on an airfield day and they seem to be fine.

One point to note, I only use the car for track work so even though they're used quite heavily it's only for low miles and the cars kept in the garage so corrosion from the weather isn't an issue. My concern with them is the bolts attaching the rotor to the bell, if they corrode badly and fail it could be a bit of a disaster.

"high carbon " just means the steel used in the rotors has a slightly higher carbon percentage, ie they are a slightly harder steel. They are NOT carbon discs!!!

I use eBay drilled and grooved m3 discs for my 315mm conversion and don't have any issues with them.

TBH I've done the grooved thing before and I think they're a bit of a gimmick. I'm just running brembo plain discs, and they're great. Haven't tracked it yet but I'm a heavy brake abuser when I'm on a quiet twisty road.
