    You still wouldnt get up on them with a bodykit or even a very low car, the ramp is too steep and the bumper would catch before the wheel would get to it

    Awesome! I'd be very quick to put a detachable 240v motor at 10Amp on that thread.

    I get the feeling that in reality these wont prove to be as good as your hopeing. Can imagine it being a right pita mesing about with the ratchet to raise them

    My car struggles to get up on a set of ramps..they usually slap a piece of wood down in front of the wheels...I don't see a reason why the same couldn't be done

    mark, if you do get them.. i have ramp extrensions for lowreed cars you can have em / borrow em whatever.

    Drive onto a block of wood, jack up on the tow eye. Can't go wrong.

    i dont think they do, I'm sure minimum height is 200mm

    Want to get some of those jacks they have in motorsport - just plug a compressor in, car jacks its damn self up!

    i thought about those, then wondered where the 12" + hydraulic ram/jack would be when no in use, it the cabbin, plud all the hydraulic gubbins, in a stripped out racer its ok, but not in a every day car.

    plus the additional weight etc.

    Agreed a lot of work to get it up and running, good idea for racecars though

    PPC has a review of car ramps/lifts in July 2011 issue.

    There is also a competition on their website to win some.

    thats neat but jacking the whole weight on the sills, and not the jacking points either on a 200sx
