Presumably the tracker is fitted but the yearly subscription hasn't been paid?Otherwise this would have been found within hours, possibly minutes, of it disappearing as the tracker company would alert the owner the vehicle is moving without it's wheels rotating etc. (on a truck obviously). That's the purpose of having the tracker.
Unless of course these thieves know all about tracker removal.
they should do free trackers for cars
Hope the owner gets the car back in 1 piece un harmed, however by now it's probably being stripped if it was stolen for parts opposed to just a joy ride.
As said already though, can the owner not get the tracking company to tell him where it is? Even if the police won't do anything, surely the owner and a few mates can.

Well thats his own fault. Why have a tracker fitted and not pay the £100 a year to keep it tracked. Thats why the police are doing nothing about the tracker as its not actually doing anything.Originally Posted by david-w
