    have a bit of steel in mine for the umteenth time only thing is dont know how it got there and has been there since friday i think?

    get some saline drops for your eyes works wonders and put some sunglasses on, been there done it to many times , oh and wear a welding mask next time lol.

    Arc eye sucks monkey balls. Have you tried large amounts of vodka to ease thr burning?

    I wasnt the one doing the welding, I was setting up the welder to show an apprentice how to weld, I didnt know he had the welder turned up to Nuclear holocaust + 10 level and just as I was reaching over the bench to pick up the mask he struck the arc, the welder was turned up so high it blew a hole through 5mm plate within about 14" from my face, cue a nice gritty dose of arc eye about 11 o clock that night and a nice red sunburn type effect on my forehead nose and cheeks
