LOL at all the mask nannies.

This is his trade, I'm sure he's well aware of the required PPE.

Clearly not if he's painting without one. But hey it's his life hes shortening.

IIRC, it's water based stuff anyway. Hardly the most evil stuff in the world.

The point of this thread was 'look at my new colour' not look at me i'm not wearing a mask.

My lungs not yours, so who cares? Filtration system is fantastic, fully cleared in under 25sec. Filtered through the floor and fed from the roof, i've got an air-fed but running round the car keeping a wet edge is a PITA.

It's the hardener thats toxic, not the water based paint - but as I already commented... I really like the colour and you've done a far better job of painting it than I'm doing with mine (sapphire blue), tell ya what you can come and do mine too if you like

Yeah I know mate which Is why I initially commented on how much I love the colour.

It just still gets me how people spray without masks. Yes water base paint is less toxic but it has been proven that anything that is inhaled as a fine mist can damage the lungs and also trigger cancer. Even flower!!
It's also water "based" paint. It's not all water in there you know .

I think people would be a little less "it'll be fine" if they knew of people who have died from not using a mask when painting. And I do.

But like you say. Its your lungs/life etc. At least your car will look good ey.

im liking it mate. Needs a black leather interior to finish the look imo. what are your plans for the wheels, are they staying black? perhaps polished lips might tie them in better...

Love the colour, but there's a few things that need changing imo

First off you need a standard rear light panel back in the centre, it just looks odd now

I think you do need to go the whole 9 yards here and get some orange/red bits on it like Porsche hell, do it exactly the same

Equips do not suite the colour in black. They need ditching and some sort of motorsport looking wheel slapping on in red/orange. CE28's maybe

Can't wait to see it when you have finished with little details
