    Project bdc (rb25 onevia)

Hi all myself and my mate mike(treadmill) have decided to build a car together, hes got his BDC license so needs a car to compete and im the pit bitch thats got alot to learn, so two heads and wallets are better than one. we surprisingly agreed on the build and the spec we wanted so this is what we have come up with we want an rb25det supermade onevia, o and also we only have 13 weeks to get a car to BDC spec mission impossible?

We found ourselves a good base to start with, from a nice chap in ireland, who was honest and was happy to come to a good deal and for extra cool points he delivered it over to us too top bloke!

we travelled down to Cardiff last night ready to go to fishgaurd port this morning, got there and was welcomed by this/

Yeah that's the one it is clean , one little spec of rust on arch but that's getting chopped out anyway,

Mike started stripping it down today , found the skirts and spats are not genuine but made out of fibre glass however they fit really well, bit of a bummer but hey Its still a ps ha ha

    update,

got down the workshop and started stripping the car out,

    came across some lucky charms

2x10 euros and a jap coin keeping these in the car somewhere

got started on the sound deadening with a heat gun and scraper.....loooooong job few hours to go

but its worth it as bits arrive like these

i cant warrent drifting with the ps front end as i will smash it to bits thus why we agreed on the cool onevia look and we thought supermade was the way forward.

and another piece to the puzzle , a d-max spiler , cooooooool!

as the car is being stripped if anyone needs any bits give me or treadmill a pm

keep the japanese coin in the car if you want to keep the luck

I'm pretty sure they put them in when they assemble the car as a good luck thing- I found the same size coin in mine when the centre console came out.

yesterday was a long day got the dash out started taking the heater box out to get rid of all the sound deadening,
also have started to disconnect the engine ready for its new home in a mates s13, so engine will be out this week and interior should be fully stripped,i think we are picking up the kit soon also, busy times

we are struggling to sort chassis out as japspeed are out of stock on the goodies we are after,so unsure where we are going to get the arms, coilovers, braces etc

it makes it a more interesting build though
