ADRIAN FLUX WORRIES!!! Please sort it out!

This is to any Adrian Flux staff:

AF are getting badly slatted regularly for shockingly poor service so what are you going to do about it to improve or do you plan to carry on as you are and continously lose our business??????

On the face of it we shouldn't care as we can go to the competition and SKY are wiping the floor with you but as consumers we dont want less competition especially if you have an import.

So AF, what are you going to do to improve your service or should we not bother calling to even get a quote when our policies are up for renewal?

Personally, i was shocked when i called for a quote; as supposed import specialists your staff didnt even what my vehicle was?? My suggestion, spend less on advertising and more on staff training or even sack the current staff as in this recession period there are plenty of candidates who can offer a better service (if given the proper training).

Seriously though, are they really? Or is it a case of the few threads highlighting where a few people are unhappy are overshadowing the thousands of customers who are happy with the service and price they are getting?

This is a rhetorical question really - I don't know if there are thousands of customers who are happy with the service Adrian Flux provide. But in the interests of balance it's maybe worth considering...

I don't even remember which broker I went with this year, but I was happy with whatever they sorted for me. What I haven't done is moan about every bad quote I get, because an insurance company will never be all things to all men. Or women. If one stood out as particularly bad though, I would probably be telling people all about it, like people have done on here. I do take these threads with a pinch of salt though.

I got a quote from AF the other day, PM'd my details to Dan on here and then was called back by one of their staff within a few hours and the person I spoke to seemed knowledgable and helpful.

The quote seemed a bit high, but still around what I was expecting.

That looks like quite good slatting to me

I'm with flux and they've been fine. I did however try them for a quote on a normal car (group 13, diesel, estate) and it was £800 more than I pay for the s14

I have had bad experiences with AF, I think there are definitely people that would never use them again- me included.

But then there are plenty of people that say that about each broker I reckon.

I have yet to see any ins company act on feedback or complaints and make any positive changes... profit is everything afterall.

You will never see a full representation from people.

some people will never be happy, and some people will shout about it, but very few people will go shouting how amazing or good service they got, this is very british!!

the OP hasn't mentioned being a member of the club, or having a discount. Last time a checked you didnt have to be a full member to get your insurance from flux

Exactly!! Who said anything about a discount?

I want AF to assure us (potential clients or current clients) that they will offer a better service and not call them up to be told they dont know what my vehicle is. All their competitors could all provide me with quotations and how can supposed import specialist not have a clue.

Not only that just look at how many threads there are with people not happy with AF's service so why doesnt AF acknowledge their service hasnt been great and agree to improve.

Like i said from the start I want AF to provide me with a competitive quote so when it comes to renewal time we will call AF rather than completely discount them and not even bother. MORE COMPETITION IS BETTER FOR US NOT LESS COMPETITION!!!

And i dont agree with byebye gti, there are quite a few threads off happy SKY customers.

    Hiya,

As a company we take customer service very seriously.
We have teams of staff that deal with specific vehicles i.e. Jap imports, Americans, Kit cars etc, however from time to time in very busy periods we may feel its more benefical to over flow calls to other departments where operators are free to try and cut down the hold times for our customers. Our staff our trained to advise customers that they have been overflowed and that the quotation will be referred to the specialist manager of the correct department.

I have forwarded your comments to our customer services managers and our quotes floor manager to see if improvements need to be made with regards our staff training.

    Thanks
    Dan

    and doesnt mean it is

Being a member of this club has nothing to do with the customer service of a company, so don't get them confused

    you too channie

And theres quite a few AF good threads too.

We as humans are more inclined to moan and complain than we are to praise, so agree with me or not, its my opinion, it doesnt have to please you.

Very true. Recent customer surveys claim that a happy customer will tell on average 1 person, while a disgruntled customer will tell 7+ people about his bad experience.
