2 wires for the aerial

Behind the stereo there are 2 wires for the aerial.

Im used to having just 1 wire for the antenna so what are the 2 wires for? Are they both needed to give a good signal?

I only have one coaxial cable and one blue wire to power the antenna

My S13 has an aerial in the rear window, and the electric one, I just use the window aerial.

There's 2 on the 180 either will. Do but one will give a slightly better signal than the other, so I'm told anyway
