    Haters gonna Hate

    Hi guys

Thought I would put up my latest project, may actually finish this one

Anyhow 200SX + Diesel engine = Sensible fun

    How it starts:-

    One BMW 525TDS (Manual)

Picked the beemer up on Saturday, it drove lovely and the engine seems to have enough power to make the big beemer move fast enough, so should be fun in a S13

    Queue engine conversion:-

Engine in and on it's new mounts

Gearbox mounted up, using the original gearbox crossmember

All thats left to do is the following:-

    Diesel Pump in the tank
    Wiring inc Speedo Cluster
    Propshaft
    I/C set-up
    Radiator

and then ready to rock and roll

Will keep this updated as I get on

Hate? Not me - sounds like a good plan. Especially with the prices of fuel and the torque that some of these diseasals have

Cool. Always wondered about fitting diesel engines to petrols. How are you going to wire up the preheat etc. Does that all work through the bmw engine loom?

Gotta ask,why not just drive the BM as it is

You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

And if you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!

Haha quality!! You can tune them diesels up good aswel! Waltons omega ( same engine) is over 300hp now on a landrover turbo, chip and ic!
I might have to test drive this, some thing I would be interested in doing!

You can get over 200HP from that engine easily so can be pretty cool

Only thing I dont like is that it's not an engine from a 5/335d

Should be interesting to watch. How much heavier is that diesel lump btw?
