They seem to get a bad rep in this country because of their largely poserific stereotypical buyer, added to the "couldn't afford a 911" image. Go to a certain derestricted toll road in Germany though and you'll plenty of these things (and Boxsters) being used as Porsche intended and they look very capable
I wish the stigma around the "lesser" Porsches would bugger off already. Lovely cars. Even the boxsters I've been in have been loads of fun!
I'd drive the shit out of that Caymen
There were a couple at the ring and they looked quite handy
Isnt the reason they put an open diff in the Caymen because it would be too close to a 911 performance wise?
I think Top Gear can take some of the flak for the price stigma since every single time Clarkson goes near anything other than a 911 he bleats on about how one would only be bought by somebody who couldn't afford a 911.
Bollocks frankly. Both the Boxster and Cayman are fantastic cars in their own right and I would slay a field of mules for a Cayman S.
Even both my brothers 944's have been cracking cars to drive, just hugely underpowered
As james May said about the boxster, take the Porshce badge off and stick on a Honda/Vauxhall/insert shit car brand here badge for all I care.
Almost any sportscar that isn't a 911 really has only been bought because the owner cant afford a 911
Loving that Cayman
You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
And if you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!
Not sure on that front splitter but ooof
Thanks ekjim, thats my new backround pic

Sam, I think you're going to have to be my style consultant when I buy this 3/5 series.
What wheels is the grey E46 touring wearing, and are they expensive?
they look like new m5 wheels
