2006/07 cars can be picked up for as little as £15k private but the majority tend to need a little TLC although there has been a couple recently that have popped up in excellent condition and with low mileage. Can't tell I've been lookingRoadsters are ~£2k cheaper than the coupes, but the coupe appeals so much more and they seem to hold their value better. They're cheaper than the equivalent boxster, and substantially cheaper than an m3 csl for about the same performance (same engine but de-tuned so it doesn't overshadow the csl).
I really like the Z3/Z4 M coupes. They're still making money outside my current pricerange unfortunately.
Does anyone here remember an issue of Redline magazine years ago, that featured a Z4 Coupe, that was set up for use on the Nurburgring?
Alpine white with BBS (I think) wheels, and carbon detailing? It was stunning, but I can't find a pic anywhere now.

As you the coupe appeals so much more than the roadster and out of everything I've been looking at it's the one at the top of my list, if all goes to plan I will pick one up this year.I might have been looking too

You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
And if you can't fix it with a hammer,you've got an electrical problem!
