i ve been looking at 996's more and more and im verrry tempted. Upgraded IMS bearing £1200 ish solves the problem around 10% rate failure is reported

Ironically reading up on it its the garage queens that it seems to happen more too. Tracked cars and ones used at high rpms dont seem to have the same failure rate better lubrication at higher engine speeds. So if they smash it right in on the test drive its worth buying. Then continue to do the same throughout ownership

The things I'd do for a flatnose 930

Red one drove through the camp at LM last year - out of all the exotic machinery we saw, that was pretty much the only thing that stopped me in my tracks. Wonderful, wonderful things

    So many wows.
A 964 body, with bits of underpinnings and running gear from pretty much every generation of modern 911. Like a sort of 'Best of' - almost a third party Sport Classic.
But with extra bits, like painted carbon panels. Yeah, painted carbon - proper carbon that's not for fanboy scenesters

    So, so pretty.

Yup, original . I've not met him yet but met the wife and been all round the house, lovely lovely house (we are doing the extension to it). Most of the clients at this place are very well off.

He's a racing driver too and own's another porsche that he races . Can't wait to have a chat to him.......will see if he likes Datsuns .

Can't mention his name for obvious reasons .

Get in with him, he's obviously a minted man of taste Hence he probably won't like 90's Datsun's

OK, found while searching for 911's...

Road registered 962 full carbon long tail silhouette, 993 GT2 TT engine, 800kg's. Fnaaaaaar.

EDIT: It's got air con. And PArking sensors. It's a practical daily!

Nononono! As above - parking sensors an air con

EDIT: Ah no, you're right, no stereo - rules it out as a daily
