For some reason the E93 convertible bootlid/roofline just seems to work better for me than the coup. But then my taste is in my arse!

If we has a U.S. thread I'd be continuously posting Corvettes on ADV1's...
Or the 458 if we had an Italian thread

Exactly. I hate myself for wanting one, I just like the sheer pointlessness and arseholery of it all. There's a black one around here that gets driven everywhere in an arsehole-like fashion, and I can't help but think not only what an arsehole the guy probably is, but how much I'd like to be doing the exact same and driving around like an arsehole in it.

Even plonking on headlights that make a 996 look like a 993 still make it the least desirable to me
I'm not sure if it's the lights though, I think it's that bumper that's jsut overridingly meh.

I keep having bad thoughts about 996s This thread is not helping

Can somebody please post one with a siezed crank and smashed engine, to cure me? That is the issue with later ones, engine issues are making them cheap as the rebuilds are really not cheap

They're rubbish, don't even go round corners properly.

    Does that help?

Paragon were a few miles from where I grew up - occasionally you'd see liveried up race cars trundling through the sleepy village. The juxtaposition of the pure ridiculousness of a thundering race car clunking and banging between half timbered buildings and tree lined roads was blooming marvellous. Lovely.

Might seem expensive, but you've got to remember, you do get 3 sets of wheels in that price .

Those BBS wheels can't be cheap. Had a good nosey around a load of them at a Porsche race at Spa, immediately wished I had a van and an escape route.

...and just some other bangers that were hanging around.

Genuinely inspirational, because if I hadn't seen the film Le Mans at a very young age and read the numbers associated with a 917/30 I wonder what I'd have been interested in for the last 30 odd years.
