    VVT Sprocket Group Buy NCVS

    Hi Guys

I'm going out to America next month so was planning on trying a VVT sprocket GB and get them shipped from there to here

I really need 5+ peeps to get it going.

As most of you know the VVT sprocket seems a little prone for failure. Mainly it goes from working to making your car sound like an old black taxi.

I'm aiming to get them in for about £300 a piece, which is approx £400ish cheaper than Nissan UK price.

If your interested, stick your name down and I'll start an official one

    Dan

Is that £300 delivered to us? If so, I'm potentially interested.
What is the solenoid I've seen mentioned? It obviously activates the VVT, but where is it located, how often do they fail and how much are they? My car is now rattling on tickover, so I'm guessing it needs the sprocket, but Ive heard this doesnt always cure it.

    Yep would be

The solenoid is located in between the cam cover and plenum near the front of the engine. Bit hexagonal bar with a connector at one end

Sometimes it is the solenoid too, but most of the time it's the sprocket

I'm very interested Dan. Mine's rougher than waking up next to Amy Winehouse after a 5 month drug binge.

Will it be a genuine Nissan jobbie? The one I got from RHD a few years ago was not and now rattles almost as much as the one it replaced.

No probes mate... Do you know if you could get a full gasket set for my blacktop bent cam sr20??

Sorry if this seems cheeky but it's costing me an arm and let as it is and any money saved is a bonus for me...

    Cheers

    Pm is on the way
