If you can get hold of one, Tomei

Most stainless ones seem to crack though TBH. How much power are you going for?

and do you want top or bottom mount? Steer well clear of ebay top mount manifolds if you dont want lots of cracks..

As above tomei is a good shout

I've seen too many Tomei crack, most of them in the first 1k/2k miles, this is probably the only Tomei part I would never buy

which turbo are you using, what power are you aiming for? what are you using the car for?

if it's 400bhp or less the Apex type 1 has lasted me many years and made good power figures.

Jez at H_Dev also has a great group buy on at the moment as well.

I thought the manifold was restrictive at around 290 bhp?

If your using a horsham chip he set the map specifically using his manifold so that would be a good one to go for.. Just make sure you upgrade your water and oil turbo lines to braided at the same time to save you taking it all back off 6months down the line.

Tomei bottom mount makes the turbo sit an inch or so further back in the engine bay, bear that in mind for an aftermarket downpipe.

I have an Apex Type 1 but I'd buy an anti flutter Jez jobbie if I was buying another.

But surely it will get to 350 easier with a better flowing manifold not to mention faster turbo spool?

Another apex type1 user here, and no problems in 2yrs and counting...
.. If buying again, might go for the revised H-dev manifold purely as the flow characteristics are meant to be improved.

Stock manifold is not going to be an issue at 350

IIRC the narrower pipes are good on the stock manifold, something to do with a higher gas speed.
