Nah although I've heard stuffing some wire wool in is meant to help yo.

Looks like a decent one. I need to firm up my pedal feel, its a bit rubbery atm!

Certainly gives a more distinct end point.

I've just bought a BM57 + Z32 servo so will see what difference that makes.

    Weekender update

    Went to the weekender...

Took it on track which was bloody awesome and the car felt great until on my 6th lap some thing went CLUNK and I lost all drive

After a 6:30hr recovery it was home

Then today we got the gearbox off

And it turns out it's shagged. No matter what gear it's in when the input shaft is turned the prop doesn't.

So it's like this until I source a new one!

    Update

Fitted mikalor clamps to the intercooler to replace the jubilee clips

Put a new seal on my Greddy oil cooler sandwich plate, (57mm x 4mm) has reduced the leakage but not fully stopped it

Picked up a few upgrades for thr Z32 rear set up - grooved disks and EBC yellow stuff pads

And finally managed to get hold of A'pexi PFC hand commander, this makes putting my 740s and Z32maf on so much easier!

    New bucket seat!

Decided the sparco circuit VTR was just too much for road use and really was only suitable for track work so replaced it with a brand new Driftworks Imola pro that I got for a steal.

    Fitted it in last night

Entering and alighting the vehicle is no longer a mammoth task! and it looks a hell of a lot better as the sparco was really worn out. I might get one for the passenger side but there are plenty of much more important things to spend the money on at the moment!

replaced the bulbs with 501 White LED sidelight bulbs. The ones that have one led in the middle and 4 pointing sideways to distribute the light properly..

I fitted my tomei poncams yesterday which means the 380bhp+ build is underway!

They sound bloody awesome, just on the standard map at the moment so I've turned the boost down to 0.7Bar from 1.0Bar and the car feels just as quick as it did without them

Just need to get my PFC working (car will crank on it but not fire) then can get my injectors in, Z32 maf on and finally the turbo on!

Fitted my Z32 AFM and stainless inlet trunk, it's pretty tight for space with the hotside piping and the oil catch tank lines!

Fired it up and it runs fine, just need 30mins so I can do the idle self learn on the A'pexi PFC.

Got my vertex copy front bumper (aerokit) fitted up today (very good fit), it fits really well with the lines of the INGS skirts, I think they suit the vertex kit better the vertex sides.

Obviously it looks a little garish being white but looks better in real life, I've got the indicators for it too but I need to move my oil cooler before they can be fitted.

Well it's finally happened i've fitted the GT2871R!!

So here is the beast of a setup to go on

    Obligatory empty turbo area shot

    Old vs New

    Then fitted!

Went really easily actually with no real problems at all.

Also offered up my downpipe that me and a mate welded a flexi into and it lines up great sits a little closer to the chassis too

Just need to put some more coolant in, finish welding the downpipe and then can fire it up!
