    Update

    Polybushed my rear subframe

    Burnt bushes out!

    Fitted new bushes

No fitted pics, has made a noticeable improvement to the solidarity of the back end. It's a lot more obvious what is going on especially with how much I can feel through my seat!

Also sorted out the rotten passenger sill as a hole had appeared

    Made the hole big

Removed all rust and sprayed Por15 metal ready liberally before welding the 3 layers together and then fitting a patch.

and got a nice moody front end shot whilst it was jacked up. Wish it could run this low!

Brought a Z32 rear brake setup for a bit of a steal, the pads and shoes were knackered but the disks are a healthy 17.4mm. Striped it all apart.

There has already been quite a bit of cleaning and the disk shields have been sand blasted.

Carried on the cleaning process, including spraying the calipers (paint stripped the large amount of red hammerite off!) and disk shields, painting a few other bits by hand and had a few bits cadmium plated. Will commence the rebuild of the calipers soon.

I've got hold of the braided lines off of DB Power,

some second hand shoes with 3mm on them and will soon getting some OEM pads off of DaveSX

Should be fitted sometime in Jan, I've also ordered up the fittings to remove the ABS unit whilst I'm at it.

Got this Z32 AFM to turbo stainless intake pipe off of the apex group buy as well, once I'd been informed the larger joiner needed to be heated and stretched over all was well.

Pic of it fitted 'in situ' on my GT2871 setup

Car passed it's MOT on thursday which is good news!

Discovered quite a hole in the centre section of my Nur Spec though from a few too many run ins with the road!

Going to cut the bottom of the centre section off and weld a thick flat plate on instead hopefully should give more clearance at the same time. Also going to chop the bottom of the centre section to back box flange off and just weld them together too as I don't see a need for them to separate.

Then got to fit my oil cooler and my Z32 rear brake set up, it's a killer not being allowed to work on my parents drive

Literally exactly the same as you. Just ordered injector rebuild kit for my 740s and recently received the Z32 maf stainless intake pipe. So I just need my poncams and a remap then!

My nuts were looking pretty sorry for themselves so I replaced them with some black nuts, which are always better!

Then on saturday I spent far too long fitted my Greddy/trust oil cooler setup, it appears there is one place and one place only the sandwich plate can sit in order for the hoses to be able to attach to it, but allas after much faffing and blood I found it!!

but it sits nice behind the bumper and the oil didn't get above 90 all the way home despite some extensive boostings, so i'm pretty chuffed!

    Saturday

On saturday I addressed the fact I'd worn through the centre box of my Blitz Nur Spec.

    Firstly isolated the affected area!

Then cut it out with a slit wheel and lowered the edges closer to the outer diameter of the perforated tube

Welded on some nice thick stainless

And finally cut off the bottom of the flange and welded it up as it doesn't ever need to come apart.

Exhaust now has no leaks and around 20mm more clearance which is a double WIN!

    Sunday

    Fitted the K Sports

They fill the wheels nicely indeed!

They are completely awesome, can't believe how progressive they are and have seemingly limitless power, roads were a touch frosty so couldn't test them too extensively though!

I must admit it does feel like the brake bias is all at the front however, which conviently brings me on to

    Monday

I put my rear Z32 calipers together that I've refurbished and damn they look sexy!

I even machined 'NISSAN' so it would match the front K Sports

These should be on in the next few weeks!

Flippin eck Sean you really are progressing with awesomeness on your project!!

I still remember when you first got this and it's great to see how much you've upgraded this car with decent parts - all neatly fitted. K-Sports are brilliant... had the 330mm set on my old 15 and I'm sure if I ever got round to fitting DS2500 pads they would literally hurt my neck if I stopped hard without a HANS device lol
