Building it off the car is by far the easiest way. Also worth coating the subframe mounting studs with loads of grease to keep corrosion at bay.

Yea I'm leaning towards that now. And yea grease will be in abundance.

    200SX S14a Project

New correct length tank strap fitted, Fuel tank heatshield fitted and braided brake lines ran.

Got my arms back from the powdercoaters. Really happy with them. Assembled them and fitted to the subframe using an eccentric lockout kit

Had the RARB sand blasted and I've painted it with POR15

    Still lots to do!

Subframe all back together. Slightly annoying that I couldn't get the hubs refurbed like the rest due to time constraints but I'll just take them back off and do them at some point.

RARB setup ready to fit too.

Coming al8ng nicely Sean. What did you do about the anti roll bar mounts in the end. Have you just re-used the old ones for now.

Cheers guys it's every spare moment on it trying to get it ready.

Yea Daz just reused them for now. Looking how thin they are do to the size I think I'm going to go for the generic 28mm kit from superpro as there will be a lot more meat around the polybush.

How much is the superpro kit. I might swap over to that as well.

    200SX S14a Project

Subframe fitted, all suspension arms torqued up with suspension loaded to correct level, coilovers fitted, antiroll bar fitted, new discs and my Z32 calipers refitted. Will get the exhaust and diffuser on tomorrow all being well. Then turn the car around to fit the front braided lines.

So it looks like you've re-used the original Nissan bolts on the outer ends of the alignment arms.

When I did mine, I felt that there didn't seem to be enough thread protruding through the pinched locking part of the self locking nuts, because of the amount of lead at the start of the thread, and the increased thickness of the mounting bracket material.

    I ended up replacing mine with some M12 x 1.25 x 70mm (I think) grade 10.9 bolts.

The thread fills the whole nut on mine.

Got the last few bits bolted up

Then finally fired it up and brought it outside. Swept out all the garage and I've since given it a well needed wash. Just the brakes to bleed and finish making a new exhaust to gearbox bracket

    Brilliant! Ha

Got the brakes bled wheels on and even managed to clean all the dust from interior and engine bay. Ready for the MOT tomorrow now. If it passes it's straight to A-Line for a much needed setup of the back end.
