    400+ photos from Prodrift 2011 (Round1 Amateurs)

    Hey

I threw this thread up on DI and DTD aswell with the risk of bein a spamtard, but there's no point in taking that many photos and not sharing em
If ya like you can grab a 1920 x 1280 version of any of them on Flickr if you right click and click on 'original'.

Nice pics mate - plenty of vibrancy

Next time you go out with the camera, give the manual mode a whirl - most of your pics are 1/4000's shutter speed so it's freezing the rear wheels solid rather than showing them in motion blur. You might like the results of setting shutter speed to 1/160 ish and then knocking aperture to F6 or 7, which will still properly expose the car - especially if you use servo AI focussing

    Cheers lads

Nice one arry, it was my first time shooting drifting/motorsports/moving vehicles. I use manual sometimes alright but went with a/p and various aperature from 1.8 to about 18. Servo focus is well handy alright!! Cheers for the tip, will try that next time. They all look like parked cars unless there's shmoke
