Peasants . All the cool kids had a TI-99/4A .

I think I played Scramble and Beach Head for an unhealthy amount of time on my mate's C64. I loved those 2 games .

Pah, I had an Amstrad CPC 464, now that was badass

Remember loading up games from cassettes, taking 20 minutes of funny noises and colourful patterns on the screen. Then the bugger would crash

    I was another Sinclair fanboy

Had a Spectrum 128k+ and my old man once brought home a Sinclair with rubber keys and a tiny disk/cartridge drive? Can't remember what it was called though. It was small and black. And crashed a LOT.

Then he equipped his offices with Amstrad CPWs. Had hours of fun with the DTP programme, spending hours searching through 5 1/4" floppies looking for the perfect clip art on the glorious green/black display...

My 286 had a whopping 3MB of RAM . It was, sadly, saddled with a Hercules 2-colour graphics adapter (if you count black as a colour )

3MB was massive back then, my 386sx (couldn't quite afford the dx!) only came with 2 which I cheaply upgraded to 4 from a college friend that had bought 30pin ram instead of 72 he needed

This c64x is quite interesting but its nothing more than a low spec laptop/htpc build in a nice case with a good keyboard, still lots of win though

My 'pooter history is Acorn electron -> cpc 464 > Atari STe > Atari Falcon (yes i was the only person to have one ) > 486 > lots and lots and lots of pc metal after that

I would prefer it if they just released a USB keyboard in the shape of a C64 ... that way you could use it with a decent spec machine

I loved my C64 ... but Hariier Attack on the cpc464 was a game I was always envious of .... even these days I search the app store on the phone looking for a possible clone .. look for flash versions of the game ... brouse the mac app store

no one will release it on moden hardware
