    Front bumper fitting

How easy/hard is it to scrap the nuts and bolts for the front bumper and fit it using bonnet catches?

Anyone here done it and does it require any fabrication? Can it be done with standard front bumper?

    Like this,

    Cheers

yeah you will need to fabricate some thing up for that but it wont be that hard
you can get the bits from demon tweeks or even ebay or one of the traders on here will stock them
the locking pin assembely just rivets on the bumper and then the other part is easy to fit as they are just thearded bars i'll try n find a pic of a kit so u can see
heres the link to demon tweeks add so you can see the pic

A standard bumper isn't one piece though so you wouldn't be able to hang it just off the spats.

If you find the main mount points and replace the nuts and bolts with a bolt-on pin, you could then use ring pins through a hole in the bolted-on pin...if you see what I mean. Not sure on what the MOT man would make of it though.

    Cheers guys.

Would it matter for the MOT? I cant see why it would be a danger to pedestrians and if it is secure at the sides and the top, other road users. I was just thinking it would cut out the need to piss around with all those bolts that are hard to reach.

Don't look as good, I really like the way that looks, as well as the practical element.

That's what I would be concerned about.

Maybe if you had the fasteners recessed it would get through. You need specialist TUV advice though I think.

It won't need to. The car will only ever be registered in the uk. The MOT man is the one I need to worry about.
