Standard turbo elbow doesn't fit!!!

I have an xs power tubular manifold fitted to my Ca engine with a T28 from an S14 & a standard elbow.When I tried to fit this lot to my engine the elbow hits against the side of the gearbox bell housing.I drilled the mounting holes out to oversize to allow a bit of pivot but it still won't fit.
Am I doing something wrong or do I need an aftermarket elbow?

If i recall correctly with an xspower manifold you need an xspower elbow.

Fit the std manifold, it's better
