Yes that's right, I am now officially old
Sold the DC2 to Delboy a month or so ago and went in search of something comfortable on a cruise. What I've bought certainly fits the bill - but it's also a DIESEL and an AUTOMATIC and an ESTATE It is, however, at least RWD
Here it is in all its glory
However, I knew I'd get totally bored of anything gutless in less than 5 minutes - so it had to be something with a bit of punch, so the all important detail is:....
In the words of James May - it goes like a stabbed rat
Done about 800 miles in her so far, including driving back from Wales after collecting her. She's been fantastic - what a drive. For a big car it doesn't feel it and when you do want to get on it, there's bundles of torque to just surge you down the road - it's seriously sweet
Playing around with the traction control is - err - interesting Who knew Daneholes Roundabout could be so much fun
So anyway, middle agedness comes to us all. I'll rock this for a bit before I go off and invest in some string back driving gloves and a flat cap
