Things will become more expensive
I predict new and interesting ways to bum the taxpayer
Somethings will be cheaper .....but not not as many things that become more expensive
You will all moan about it on forums but actually do f**k all in real world to fix it.
I predict that the media will make silly predictions
About it all morning rather than waiting a few hours to find out.
leave the country...
It would require a huge amount of the population to support the cause, massive amounts of violence and destruction, politicians would need to be dragged out into the streets and beaten to death.
We can all sit around filling out The Sun petitions and other such nonsense but lets get real, what exactly has that achieved in the past? nothing! same with peaceful protests, nothing!
Take for example the recent student protests, they wrote to there politicians, they campaigned hard, they had peaceful protests with strongly worded signs and they were ignored, only once they got violent did they have a voice and then the politicians began to pay attention.
Unfortunately the students did not have the support of the population so they lost momentum very quickly.
But like I said, nothing will be done and all folk will do is moan about it and accept it.
The population have more important things to do, like vote for there favourite xFactor contestant.
Ah yes, because violence solves everything.
What is it that's going on in Libya right now? Iraq worked out really great too
So we're a democracy not a dictatorship, but lets face it, in the history of the world violence has generally ended up making thins a shit load worse rather than better.
Even if we did go out and smash the place up and 'fix it'.... we're still left with one problem. The UK still needs to reduce its annual deficit
Protest about what though ?? ..... protest that you dont want to pay so much for food, protest you dont want to pay so much tax.
OK .... very good .. what what is the alternative, its not quite as simple as saying "ok fuel tomorrow will only be 40p a litre and fish will drop in price by 30p a kilo"
We are in a bad place financially ... ANY thing that is controlled by the government at the moment will take a hit as the governemtn has no money.
Its the same as private business, if the company make no money, it makes cuts ..... the same goes with the government .... it needs to trim the military, the police, the fire brigade, the nhs, rubbish collections
If everyone went out protested and stopped the government, you would soon have nothing as there would be no money to pay anyone !
We could however just blame the bankers. After all, this is all their fault
What is everyone moaning about then?
I said you can either accept the increase in living costs or go nuts and tear the place up.
Everyone is moaning, because that's the British thing to do
We could all get off our arses, make sacrifices etc and try to adapt, but it's easier to moan.
