I'm affraid its the way insurance is going. As im sure Arry will be along to agree anytime soon.

My insurance last year was £630 and my renewal came through at just shy of £1200. Best quote i got was with Sky insurance and its was just over £900.

Same age as you btw and to think when i had my 14a at 21 it was only £900 to insure with all mods declaired

£5000!!!! Wow!!!! No way no that is bad!

Well the quotes I'm getting now are double the price I was paying 2yrs ago for it

Now the thing is I really don't wanna get rid of it! So I'm not gonna stop till I get it sorted!

My bros ins doubled on this R32 GTR this year up to £2000 and he got it on classic for £300!! And friend got specialist for his MR2 at £325 with track cover!
I'm getting no were near them prices! But the hunt won't stop!

As above. Ring up for betwe quotes

I insured mine when I was 18, and It cost more than the cars cost, twice. Reinsured this year and flux gave me a very nice price. 14's are cheaper to insure hehe, and better :P

Try Performance Direct. They're £200 cheaper for my S13, fully comp with all mods declared (not that there are many)...

I just got my renewal through from admiral for £750 only telling them about the exhaust. My car is mot that modded yet. I'm 24 been driving for 6 years. Only 3 years no clames and my right off has just come off. I went to there websight and got it down to £540 fully comp. I am the main driver and my 22year old girlfriend is on the policy as well.

I found if you put someone like your mum or dad. That is older and with a clean licence as a second driver as well it drops the premium.

Also go direct to admirals websight I went to gocompare and admiral offered me £850 for the same car.

    Hope that helps.

That don't supprise me, I have one of them now and it's cheeper to insure my 14a than the civic, they are group 14 for no reason apparently. Iv just gone 20 1 years ncb and a crash nearly 3 year ago holding a licence for just under 3 year and mine is £1539 fc with injury cover and all da trimmings. Which I though was good. That wit admiral.
    Tips for admiral:
Put it's parked on da street. Took over £100 compared to a garage.
Put a girl on the policy, I put ma gf who is the same age and it dropped by £300.
Try changing post code of where it's kept, I put it was kept ata grandmas and it knocked £350 off.
Put down fully comp but put the excess right up. Came £200 cheeper that tpft.
Other than that I dono wot u gunna do.
