    Top Martial Arts Movie

    Ok,

Having watched IP Man and IP Man 2, some rather good Martial Arts etc,
how about listing the top Martial Arts films.

Not really knowing much about the Hong Kong and Chinese Cinema, the top ones on my list are

    The Kingdom
    Ong Bak
    Bloodsport
    IP Man
    Drunken Master
    Enter the Dragon
    The Octagon

    Lets list some others

Ongbak as said, and if you can ignore some even dafter story line then Ongbak 2 & 3 offer some really impressive scenes.

IP Man 2 is Epic, just didn't think it was as good as the first.

The early commercial Jackie Chan films weren't as good as the Protector IMHO...

prodigal son if you want a really good one. (for once, the dub is the one to watch purely for the old kung fu film feel)

way of the dragon is bruce lee's best imo.

house of flying daggers is good for a modern film - though too many modern chinese films are trying to do the 'glory day' thing and taking it too seriously - hero, crouching tiger, curse of the golden flower etc and it gets a bit OTT.

I don't think I've watched a really modern martial arts film and been really impressed, it's all a much of a muchness for the reasons above.
    white '94 s13 200sx scrapped - mapped to 1.45bar. OS giken box, garrett GT2876R, 950cc injectors, ORC twin plate, nistune. 349bhp/325lbft @ 1.3bar CA18DET
white '96 s13 180sx - type g with more kouki bits - RB25DET, GTR steel twin turbo conversion, RB26 crank & rods. 2.6L VVT twin turbo, SR20 OSG box, OSG STR twin plate clutch, Z32 ECU w/ nistune.

current status: 180 a bit broken but to be repaired.

I saw it many many years ago, and it was awesome then.

Slap stick comedy with martial arts, his old dear was a insane figter too in the movie
