    My 240Z

    Hi Guys

Thought I may as well start a project thread on my new 240Z.

After longing for one over the past decade or so, I managed to find one at the right price, and in the right condition for me to "do it how I want it".

I collected the car on Saturday 19th from Thirsk (n Yorkshire). The car had been dry stored for the last 10 years in a container on a farm. The guy I bought the car of used to drive it, until he decided to restore the car. He stripped it down but didn't continue anyhow my gain

    Pics:-

Car back at DB-Power's head quarters:-

    Before cleaning:-

    After cleaning:-

    Plans:-

    Remove all rust
    Weld up holes
Possibly fit 200SX rear subframe for IRS
    200SX front subframe
    Styling

The whale tail will be hitting the bin, rest assured there

    Will update over time

Looks great mate, I'm also (like many folks here) a huge fan of these cars. That's a lot of rust. Time for a dip? Expensive, but will pay dividends in the long run if your rails aren't too gone

too be fair, there isn't as much rust as the pics seem to show, most of the floor is actually good metal which is rust coloured

Well done Dan! Beautiful car! Can't wait to see her finished. A gut that I know spent a year looking for a GT6 and happened upon a 240Z and was instantly hooked and bought that instead. Always loved them.
