Greebo - Noun - a depressed person with greasy hair, normally walks round with head point down, into self harming listerns to "greebo Music" or heavy rock/heavy metal anythign referring to satan or self mutilation or suicide , is bascialy old termanology for today's EMO trend,

    Kerrang Radio ftw!

And cat, definitely, although perhaps only in a loose sense... big ball of hatred covered (mostly) in fur might be more accurate.

From memory greebo is a multi-paradigm programming language for the Jave virtual machine, that borrows on concepts from Lisp, Dylan, or Lua no?

The word Emo has been corrupted anyways - Bands like the Get Up Kids were Emo yonks ago, mid 90's, but the word's only really come into play of late.

As far as greebo goes - wha?!

Most of these words are predominantly used by school kids - becoming common parlance is the next step, but arguing over them - put yourself back in your shoes when you were at school - what was your opinions of people like us who'd have these discussions?

greebo = peopel who dress in mainly black, black eye shawoe, long coats dodgy boots, and listen to rock music, slip knot etc, but dress in such attire thats out of place.

treebo = greebos that hang around a tree, mainyl found in milton keynes central round the old tree. no longer congragate there as its now no smoking.

em0= pink purple haired, listen to crap like 30 seconds to mars, minly emotuionally confused teenagers with daddy issues!!

I am feeling let down now, I gave the SXOC lots of credit in my mind as a well read bunch

If I put this on a Honda board where they dont seem to be able to rear as far as a torque figure on a car ad, fair enough, but on here.... terrible

You say that... but I frequent many forums, and the SXOC is verging on being the most well rounded and reasonable, strange though that may seem!

The SXOC is more into Tolstoy and other such highbrow intellectual material, modern fantasy books are way beneath the average owner

Lucky for you, your job isn't partly using 10+ forums to gather interest and feedback then

It is interesting though, the different 'demographics' you get exposed to on different forums!
