    I thought so, but I wasn't sure.

Might be a stupid question but are these rated to the same power as the Z32 and RB25 boxes?

Some people say the same, some say more. What it does seem is there are 9 second 350Zs running standard boxes without any major dramas so they're fairly strong.

As for the warranty on the box I was quoted on, if you split the bellhousing he can only do 30 days. I might see if he'll drop a warranty altogether and do it any cheaper.

Z33 box is stronger than the rb25/z32 box

There are ways around having to machine the bellhousing (see my rb to sr conversion plates).

I have a vq35 and box sitting here along with 8 or more sr's so il see what i can do

That would be brilliant, id be very interested if you sort something out Polo.
That these would be a ALOT of work to fit the SR, but if it turns out its no more difficult than and RB box conversion then im in.

The major problem so far seems to be speed sensing. The rest is fairly easy to overcome.

That's not a problem, do the same as you would with a S15 box conversion and take a signal from the diff ABS sensor. Digital Dakota can supply a box to adjust the signal

Ah sweet. I'll try and dig up the S15 conversion info and add the necessary to the first post.

Well if we got a few of us interested, then there's group buy potential in the plates and clutch lines in the very least.

Plate is something i can get sorted with little fuss so depends on the price for that

Lines i would defo be interested in.

First thing i want to get sorted though is all the 350z hardware.

The rest is no issue really BUT no box and it's paperweights lol

    That's true.

I'll most likely be buying this '06 box, prop, shifter, clutch fork & bearings, slave cylinder and crossmember from this 350z breaker, but it's the only one he has ATM

Whats the cost for all in with that mate if you don't mind me asking ?

First thing i will be doing is getting it up to a mate for full inspection before fitting

He was willing to do it for £550 + delivery if I negate his warranty. With a warranty it was looking at £650.

Basically, if it dies within the time frame then he takes the hit and you get what you paid back.

I've seen the box alone sell for £2-300, but then you might need to get the various other pieces too.

Ahh cool that sounds like a great deal to be honest

Will have to scour the breakers for a similar deal then

Well id be interested if a plate and lines could be sourced at a reasonable price. Sounds like it could be a slightly better option than the RB25 i was planning.

Im already searching for a box lol

Hope not too many of us are asking the same people as the price will start to climb

Will post my findings as soon as i get some info, the chap i have asked has around 5 breaking at present all within the dates we would require.
