Nissan S14a red (CAT C) Needing QUICK SALE!!!

Got an AUTO 1998 R reg Red Nissan 200sx s14a with 93k on the clock.

Standard car with black leather, cd autochanger, service history of which one is due now but due to accident it hasn't been done.

Pictures below to show the damage:

I've been informed that this won't cost much to fix.

Intercooler got knocked into the front bumper area.

Really have no idea what to ask for this but am told that CAT C damage won't effect the price too much, so therefore asking for £1500.

Please let me know if im dreaming with the price or if it should be changed.

Want this gone ASAP, and got old MOT's etc...

You are responsible for getting it through an MOT, as i'm on the understanding that once you repair it etc... you will need to get it re-MOT'd.

    Thanks,

    Andy

    Is this a joke?

A good 1998 Auto is worth around £1500.

Won't this need a VIC check to get it on the road?

I did say let me know

Are you saying a good 1998 auto as a non cat c is worth £1500?

Spitting image of my car barring the 6 months age difference as mine is newer and the CAT C - http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...01106379083006

I'll let you work out how much i got paid out

Andy, I think you need to revise the price. Have a look through the for sale section to give you an idea of prices.

I'd be impressed if you got a grand for it. Good luck.

    I'll be nice this time

That car linked on autotrader will NEVER sell at that price. Have a look through the for sale section on here for a guide. Look at Pistonheads as well.

Being told Cat C won't effect value is absolute horse shit.

Cat D will lose 25%, Cat C is less desirable again and borderline repairable. That is a fair bit of damage on your car.

In my humble opinion, I think you would struggle to get a grand for it, let alone 2400.

It's worth something as parts, but not as a possible repair and drive again really. There's enough S14a's out there for £1500-£2000 in reasonable condition that aren't cat c or d.

I'd give you £500 for it and send someone to collect it.

Have you got the link to that? Did it have more aftermarket parts?

There are 14a's going for 1500 without damage and manuals so I'd be happy with 1k in that condition.

Yep, just cuts out due to the intercooler not being connected as its sitting in the bumper where the wing got knocked in.

If you feel like taking the bumper off, you can fit it back together im sure or pick up another intercooler for £20.
