Yeah I pulled up at the stand in the hachi trying to get Docwras track time off of him lol.

Think I better take a look at what I am doing then as my liver is shot enough without trying to kill it with chemicals

funny this thread should come up.

i have been getting FUKIN bad migranes for the last 3 years. most niticably at weekends.

after going to hospitals, dorctors, optitions.. i found out a week ago its... CAFFEINE!

every weekend, i have a lay in, i have no coffe and i basivly start to go cold turky.

i have cut down my coffee intake over the last week to nearly nothing and this weekend was the first weekend in nearly 3 years i havent woken up with a migrane. i feel more awake, healthier and generally happier.

am gonna steer clear of all caffeine stuffs as much as possible in the futre. i can express the relief i have atm from working out what it was!

Mr Hypothetical should try avoiding caffeine entirely and see if it helps as "normal/average" intake may affect this person more than "normal/average"

Hypothetically, their opinion of their caffeine intake may be wrong. Possibly this person is hypersensitive to caffeine.

Still following this thread thoroughly enjoying my coffee while doing it.

In fairness I have a cup of tea to dilute the coffee every now and then as well

It's a good idea to go cold turkey and this then puts your sensitivity to caffeine back to normal as well. You may find you can go back to drinking small amounts of coffee and more tea for example. I also find that drinking coffee without eating something gives me migraines as it makes my sugar levels crash.

In general, keep hydrated and sugar levels even and then you can take caffeine in moderation and stay migraine free. It may also have been your lie ins that triggered them for example.

I'd Go ask your doctor about your intake too they clould clarify things for you and get a general check up better safe than sorry!

    Hmmm,

Thinking about it, I drink 4-6 cups of strong filter coffee on a morning. This size (next to T28 desk tidy for scale comparison!)

I have a pint pot of tea with lunch, another of the brown cup size tea late on at work.

Then either another big cup of tea or more filter coffee when I get home, depending what mood I'm in.

    Maybe I should cut down!

stick with it I would advise anyone who finds themselves living off energy drinks to knock them on the head at least. Coffees is alright

I don't live on energy drinks, I just binge on them at weekends. I could stop anytime I liked... if it were a problem, which it isn't. I just drink coffee during the week, which as you said is fine

Just take it a day at a time for the minute.

I'll be proud of you if you make it through the weekend

    lol

On a normal working day for me its about 30 cups espresso
    And not the weak stuff.

I drink loads and loads of coffee, not touching the energy drinks that much.

I used to drink my coffee with milk and sugar, and i was having issues. Went to see the doctor and he said try it without the sugar....and presto!! No more issues for JJ

Just not sleeping enough, but never did that since i was a kid
